One of our favourite times of the year is almost here – it’s Thanksgiving! There’s nothing better at Thanksgiving than getting together with family and friends for a delicious dinner, enjoying great company, and eating until you can’t eat any more. The enjoyment of a mouthwatering meal is only heightened by a beautifully decorated and well put together table. Here are a few of our favourite easy and elegant Thanksgiving table decoration ideas, to ensure your dinner table is looking stylish this holiday season.

Gourd garland

Create a beautiful table runner with burlap, some small decorative gourds and a garland of fake ivy. Drape a long piece of burlap down the middle of the table, arrange some decorative gourds along it, and then bring the whole thing together by weaving in the garland of fake ivy. This simple yet effective table centrepiece can easily be created with items you can pick up from your local craft store!

Pumpkin vase

Create a stunning display by hollowing out a large pumpkin and using it as a vase. Cut a large circle out of the top of the pumpkin, hollow it out and discard the seeds, insert a vase inside the hollow, and fill it with your favourite fall flowers. You could even decorate the pumpkin with some gold glitter spray, for an extra festive sparkle!

Apple basket

Fall is traditionally a time of harvest, and what says ‘harvest’ better than a basket full of shiny freshly-picked apples? Bring nature’s bounties to your dinner table by lining a wicker basket with burlap and arranging some crisp apples within. For an extra special look, add some fall flowers around the apples.

Natural displays

For stylish table decor, look no further than the great outdoors. Take a walk around your nearest park, or even your own backyard, and look for branches, leaves, pine cones and berries to decorate your table with. If you have small children, they’ll love being included in this foraging adventure!
