When did we get into real estate?
Lynne: I obtained my license in 1988 despite the fact that I was enjoying a successful career as a teacher. I always knew that real estate was in my blood…my father was a real estate broker and needless to say, real estate was always the favorite topic of conversations... as it still is, three generations later!
Jasmin: While studying to graduate with a business degree in 2004, I also obtained my real estate license. There was no doubt, I also wanted the experience of engaging and developing more meaningful relationships with people.
Hence we all knew, from an early age, that we would be involved in selling real estate. We love meeting people and we have a passion to help them achieve their goals, real estate wise.
Why Real Estate?
What greater satisfaction can one get than to help people turn dreams into reality? A home is the biggest investment in one's life - but it’s more than about the money and the investment... it’s about finding a home to raise a family, to be part of a community. The emotional factor in real estate is such a major piece of the puzzle. To play a key role in helping a family find their ideal home and to continue that friendship after the sale is done – well, there are very few careers in which you can find that reward of personal contentment.
What do you enjoy most about the industry?
The people. The families who become more than simply clients. We still have many friendships with people we helped in the late '80s and through the '90s. Most precious, is when it's time to help their children into home ownership! And then, it's the homes themselves. The variety of styles and designs that we come across every day makes for a most interesting career! We love homes, interior design, landscaping and this opens the door to a vast array of stunning treasures! We embrace the opportunities to get a close-up look at everything!
What made you decide to build a team?
Well, we are a team but not a big one. We know that over the years, as teams have grown out-of-proportion, many people wished they would have turned to a smaller team like us for their real estate transaction. This allows us to give our clients the best service possible, most importantly, personal service. With the help of our dedicated administrative person and our extensive network of partners, our clients receive a level of service that they will feel compelled to brag about!
