Royal LePage Performance agents and staff are pictured as Santa’s Elves with their award-winning float at the Orleans Santa Claus Parade.
The annual Santa Claus parade in Orleans, Ontario, held this year on November 28 was the perfect opportunity for Royal LePage Performance to kick start the community’s Christmas spirit. In fact, sales representative Diane Rennie and her husband Paul were like Santa’s Elves themselves in organizing and building a float themed “Santa’s Workshop.” The float was honoured as this year’s grand champion winner for best float to embody Christmas spirit.
While Santa was the main attraction of the parade, the focus of this annual event is to raise money and collect toys for the Salvation Army. Many toys and thousands of dollars have been collected over the years, helping to make Christmas a little more joyous for needy families in the local community. In addition, Royal LePage Performance is a long-time supporter of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation and won Office of the Year honours from the Shelter Foundation for their efforts last year.
Please find attached a copy of the letter received from our Member of Parliament, Andrew Leslie, congratulating us for the Jim Anderson Memorial Trophy in the Orléans Santa Parade of Lights. We are proud to be part of such a great place to work. Congrats to all who participated.
